Who We Are
Mr. Shangkun, a violin teacher in China, a member of the Violin Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, and an outstanding teacher of violin at the China Conservatory of Music. Special violin lecturers from Taobao Education, iQiyi Education, Tencent Classroom, Netease Good Class, Bilibili, Youku Video, Tiktok, Kwai, Xiaohongshu, Watermelon Video and other major video education platforms.
At the age of 4, he studied violin under Professor Jin Yanping of Shenyang Conservatory of Music. During his violin studies, he has performed many times at the National University of Singapore, the University of Hong Kong, and Fukuoka University in Japan, and has won numerous awards.
After ten years of hard work and 17 years of learning and performing, Mr. Shangkun has accumulated valuable experience. He officially began teaching in 2003, and he has inherited the excellent traditional teaching methods of Professor Jin Yanping. He has continuously optimized his teaching plan during the teaching process, and has formed a rigorous and scientific "Shangkun Teaching Method".
Certificate of Excellent Tutor of China Conservatory of Music From May 2003 to September 2008, I served as a music theory teacher and violin teacher at the British DCB International School in Beijing.
From September 2004 to October 2010, he served as an assistant violinist and a violin instructor for the Beijing Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.
In October 2010, he founded the "Shangkun Violin Music Studio" to provide violin tutoring training for more students. In order to improve teaching quality, he has participated in many violin exams and violin competitions as a special guest.
In June 2011, Mr. Shangkun received an invitation from Sina.com to participate in the Beijing violin interview report "Traditional Education Takes Off with the Help of the Internet", which received a good response from the society. In July of the same year, Mr. Shangkun received the "Certificate of Excellent Tutor" for the violin major from the China Conservatory of Music.
In 2017, registered companies and related trademarks will provide students with a one-stop service including training, grading, school selection, musical instruments, performances, employment, etc.
Shangkun's teaching philosophy for violin: Adhere to one-on-one teaching and teach students according to their aptitude. Whether students are pursuing a career as violinists or learning for fun, they should be given professional guidance and a beautiful musical world constructed using professional methods and terminology. Therefore, it is not only important to arrange teaching materials reasonably, but also to arrange cooperation between students and teachers.
Shangkun violin has had many students who have obtained the certificate of Grade 8 and Grade 9 in the violin major of the China Conservatory of Music and won several awards in various competitions.
